How to play
- Build a guess from the five lists: size, thread, length, grade and finish. Press Guess.
- Each part lights up green if it’s right, amber if it’s close, or grey if it’s not it.
- ↑︎ and ↓︎ on the size and length tell you whether the answer is bigger or smaller.
- You have six guesses. Everyone gets the same fastener each day, and a new one comes out at midnight your time.
What counts as close
- Size: one standard size away, like 1/2″ when the answer is 5/8″.
- Thread: right series (coarse or fine) on the wrong size.
- Length: within 1/2″.
- Grade: the next grade over. Grade 5 is close to 2 and 8. 18-8 stainless is only ever right or wrong.
- Finish: the other zinc. Zinc clear is close to zinc yellow.
